Conditions Voiding Warranty:
Accident, neglect, or abuse
Improper installation; must be done by a professional technician complying with local codes
Relocation or reinstallation
Equipment modification
Failure to provide neutral to electrical connection if required
Incorrect voltage applied
Improper cleaning methods
Water conditions such as excessive lime or chlorine
Faucet seat cups, sight gauge tubes, and washers not covered
Use of muriatic or hydrochloric acid for cleaning or de-liming
Coverage Details:
Electrical parts, fittings, and tubing covered; excludes installation, adjustments, training, cleaning, or improper operation/application
Warranty Activation:
Prompt notification of claim to FETCO®
Verification of warranty status
Issuance of Return Authorization Number (RA) by FETCO®
Pre-paid shipment of defective equipment to FETCO®
Replacement of defective parts with genuine FETCO® parts
Start of Warranty Period:
Begins on the day of shipment from FETCO®
Covers defects in material and craftsmanship appearing within applicable period
Excludes non-FETCO® manufactured parts
Exclusions:
Misuse, abuse, alteration, damage, improper installation or operation, maintenance, repair, or extreme conditions
Buyer's remedies limited to repair, replacement, or refund at FETCO's discretion
Limitations of Liability:
FETCO® not liable for lost profits, sales, equipment use, removal/reinstallation expenses, customer claims, downtime costs, substitute equipment, facilities, or services, or any other incidental or consequential damages
Warranty Service:
Limited to normal weekday business hours
Travel time covered up to 2 hours per round trip
Reconditioned circuit boards may be used for replacements
Warranty void if repairs not done by FETCO® recommended service agent
Warranty claim denied if defective parts not returned or found operational during factory testing.
